Razer DeathAdder Essential Gaming Mouse: 6400 DPI Optical Sensor - 5 Programmable Buttons - Mechanical Switches - Rubber Side Grips - Mercury White

So far I've bought 3 of these (for different computers - all work fine). If you have big hands, this mouse is perfect - bigger than most, and well-contoured. It's NOT especially lightweight - with is a big plus to me. The layout is perfect and the customization software is excellent. I often use "scroll wheel click" but I don't want to actually click the scroll wheel because it can... scroll... so I programmed the side buttons to also function as scroll wheel click, and that's perfect. Its settings are customizable in all respects, very extensively. I turned off the light so it looks at home in an office setting. Sensitivity/scroll speed is also completely customizable. Even if you don't need all the customization, if you want something bigger than usual, you'll like it. It's the only mouse I've found that ticks all these boxes, fits my hand perfectly, and is still very reasonably priced and a great value (seems to fluctuate between $18~25).

This right here is the best mouse to start out with! Please get it! I got it for my first time playing on PC i had to get it for my wife, once she got onto it! It is super light, but heavy on the base for it not to slip around unintentionally! It is wired, which is great for response time, wireless is not the best options when it comes to long term gaming so think about getting a wired one. (Meaning no battery). The wide frame helps hand cramps and soreness. Literally what it is made for. After you play for a long time you hand feels odd after being in one spot, but with this mouse, it allows you hand to be relaxed and stretched and not clamped while playing. I still use mine after almost a decade of having it. But after you prestige from his mouse, try a logitech one for the weight comparison. I use both every day, for work, and gaming.

This Razer DeathAdder has become my new go-to mouse! The wired connection is fast and reliable with no batteries to worry about. The size is perfect and incredibly comfortable for my hand and weighs nearly nothing! What I really love is how it glides and how solid the clicks feel - the mechanical switches have a satisfying, precise response. The 6400 DPI optical sensor tracks smoothly and the 5 programmable buttons are handy for gaming or productivity, which to be honest, I rarely use such advanced functionality, it's there when I want it. The rubber side grips add extra comfort. Excellent mouse at a great price!

Everything works and clicks well. However, the scroll wheel stopped working after 10 months. Scrolling triggers both up and down scrolls at the same time. No debris found and the mouse is in excellent working condition. Seems to be poor quality.

First one lasted about 4 years. It still worked but the left click started to become far too easy to depress. So I was accidently clicking a lot. So I bought a second one. For $20 I will keep rebuying this mouse every 4 years for as long as they offer it. Great mouse, easy to click buttons on the side, great ergonomics, and not too flashy. Responsiveness is great (although its wired so its just as good as any other wired mouse) and the wheel rolls very smoothly and as very subtle notches it clicks into so you don't over scroll when you are trying to me specific. The wheel is also larger than mice I have had in the past so it is easier to click when needed. I don't really care about the RBG but if that is your thing it is not too bright that it distracts, but it is plenty bright to be flashy if that is your goal. It's heavy enough it doesn't move if your knee knocks the desk, yet light enough that I don't notice it when using it. Amazon says to mention connectivity in the review, but its a wired mouse, its plug and play. It is USB-A. Not USB-C I only made this review because I was surprised to see it for only $20. I think it was $39.99 when I got my first one.
