💡 How to pick a mouse
What to look for:
  • Sensor DPI and accuracy for precision
  • Weight (lighter for fast games, heavier for MMOs)
  • Wired vs wireless (wireless is now tournament-grade)
💰 Shape matters most. Borrow a friend's before buying to test grip

★★★★★New main. Excellent mouse with a ridiculous battery life
The box didn't have much protection, but it arrived in great condition. As for the mouse itself, it is amazing. I won't talk much about shape because that's highly subjective (I'll just say it fits my hand size and grip style), but everything else is excellent: coating is smooth and grippy, very nice to the touch; main clicks are light and tactile, tho they could have a little less post travel; side buttons are well tensioned and positioned; the wheel might be the weakest aspect, because the scrolling feels a bit off, but it's totally functional; M3 click is very tactile; skates are smooth and fast; build quality is perfect, solid as a rock; performance is top tier, no complaints; and finally, the battery is absolutely insane. I have been using the mouse for 12 days at 1000hz (sometimes 8000, but only for a couple of Apex matches) and it has only gone down to 60%. On top of all of that, Razer has finally made a web software. That means 2 things: 1) you don't have to deal with the bloatware that is Synapse (except for firmware updates); and 2) you can change your settings on Linux, which has been a game changer for me (I dual boot Windows 11 and Bazzite). I think it is worth the price, but only if you don't have a Viper V3 Pro (or even a Viper V3 Pro SE). On paper, the V4 Pro has many improvements, but the only real upgrade that a player will notice is the battery life and the web software. I recommend it to people who have never owned a Viper V3 and want the latest technology and power efficiency. I can recommend it to those who just want to try the shape, but they might also want to take a look at the V3 Pro, since it is cheaper right now.

★★★★★Worthy of the praise
I have been using it a full week now, and I think it's worth all the praise. It's a safe shape that will work for everyone except if your hands are on the smaller side. Switches, side buttons, scroll wheel, and sensor all feel perfect. My honest favorite thing about this mouse is the battery life is otherworldly good compared to anything I have used. I likely won't have to charge it until about 5-6 weeks of moderate to heavy use at 1000Hz, which is huge when I need to charge my other mice practically after a weekend. The first negative is the price is steep, especially when you could get the V3 Pro Se for like have the price. Two, the M1/M2 switches are on the loud side, but you won't notice them with headphones. You will annoy anyone around you though if they have to listen to you click. Three, the black version is a bit of an oil magnet, but the coating at least feels good. Might be worth using either Razer's provided grips or another brands for long-term use. Overall, it's a very good mouse if it's within your price range, and your hands are moderately large in size. Maybe it's placebo, but I also dropped my first nuke in Call of Duty on keyboard and mouse using it. That might be influencing might personal opinion of it, but I promise it's a great mouse.

★★★★★it’s the best mouse i’ve used
i’ve used a few different mice for gaming but honestly this one has the edge. it’s light and smooth and feels super comfortable. insane battery life too. the build feels firm and is honestly at a reasonable price for how good it is.

★★★★★Love this mouse!
The mouse is fantastic. It feels good in the hand, extremely light, buttons are very snappy, movement is extremely responsive, software is good. I honestly had a really good mouse already, but it was a little older and about 100 grams. With this mouse being half the weight I thought I’d treat myself and I’m glad I did. This thing is just great, 180 hr battery at 1000 Hz, but I really like the dynamic sensitivity. My previous mouse didn’t have that and I didn’t know what I was missing. Overall I was skeptical because of the price but I’m glad I bit the bullet and bought it.

★★★★★Excellent gaming mouse
This is an excellent mouse and the clicks are very satisfying but some may think it’s too loud but for me it is isn’t. The software is now web based so no more intrusive synapse soft ware and that’s what really sold it for me and on top of that it’s a really fast mouse and the battery level is just amazing. I highly recommend this mouse!!
