Pystar 1000W Power Supply 80+ Gold Full Modular PSU, ATX 3.0 & PCIE 5.0, ES1000

This was a dream. I'm graduating from an old monster 1200W PSU that I had in my full tower case. Unfortunately, that thing was too big to fit into modern cases, especially now they all use that annoying PSU "sleeve" setup inside. So I needed something smaller, and would not compromise on getting something that was fully modular, and had to be at least 1000W because I have the max internal hard drives I can stuff inside my case. This power supply is quiet, the cords and connectors are high quality, flexible enough for good cable management, and tight connections. The back where the cables connect to the power supply are nicely colour coded for which type cable goes where if you can't get a good full-on look at it to read the text labels because you already installed it in the case then realize you want to swap a couple connectors. Not that I did this! ( I totally did this) It's super quiet. I upgraded from a bronze standard to this gold one and my power bill already dropped a bit. I've already had a power outage and 2 monsoon storms and the protections worked perfect. The metal exterior is nice and firm, not easy to bend just pressing your thumb against it. I especially loved that it came with a tester connector that you can easily plug in so that there's no nervous paper clip action going on. Finally, the price is incredible value. I was on the tightest budget imaginable and desperate to get something modular, 1000W, and small enough to fit and this was the best value ever!

Seems well built with a 10 year warranty. That is unheard of these days. This is the second one i bought. I had an issue with the first one the electrical pci supply cord was defective.Support said no problem ship the power supply back we’ll ship you another, in 10 days i had a brand new power supply at my door.

This power supply really deserves the warning. It worked fine at first. It was stable and no complaints. But after just about 2 years of use and gaming, it suddenly failed. A psu should last MUCH MUCH longer than this. My previous power supply lasted almost 10 years until it started hinting its failures. With this, running simple games and everyday task were fine, but high demanding games like Arc Raiders crashes after 10-15 min. It's frustrating losing a game because of bad power supply and this has happened many times recently. Whole screen just goes blank. GPU and CPU temperature and voltage were good. I've since replaced this power supply and no more crashes.

Importante tener una fuente que tenga un extra de poder para ir tranquilo con todas las conexiones. Para un usuario estándar y que use el PC para juegos, está perfecto. Logrará conectar las mejores gráficas, hacer OC del procesador, sin tener ningun lio con la entrega de energía. Yo la use para minería con 4 gráficas y funcionó perfecto el tiempo que lo hice. Ahora la tengo para un PC gamer y va sobrada. Super silenciosa al no tener que sobreesforzarse para entregar energía.

I am not one to skimp on power management, and this PSU is no exception despite its comparatively low cost to other 1000W PSUs. In the past, I have used PSUs from just about every retailer from EVGA to Corsair. This PSU has given me no problems supporting my 7800X3d CPU and RTX 4090. I have seen no signs of power failure or significant regulation issues. The PSU simply does its job. It did so well that I bought an additional PSU for a build I did in the summer. Don't hesitate to do the same!
