★★★★Steady power and quiet operation at a great price point
This 650W power supply delivers exactly what you would expect for a PSU in this class, delivering quiet, steady operation, even under heavy load. The only real gotcha is that the listing seems to be erroneous; it claims the power supply has a side-mounted display that shows wattage in real time, but there is no display on this model. While a wattage display is unheard of at this price point, the listing should still be corrected to avoid confusion Power supplies are carved up into different tiers, with 80 Plus Bronze Certified being entry-level in the budget tier, so you have to understand that this is that class of power supply. That said, this is a robust power supply for a Bronze model, and it comes with a five-year warranty, which is the top-end of the Bronze tier. This power supply comes with one CPU 8-pin connector, which you need to be aware of. Many motherboards accept two 8-pin connectors for additional power, and some chips even require it. As such, make sure that your CPU and motherboard are both fine with a single 8-pin CPU power cable, and many are. It also has two 6+2-pin PCIe connectors, and that means you will not be able to run some of the bigger, badder GPUs out there, especially the newer ones that need a 16-pin connector. But you shouldn't expect that at this price tier anyway. This is not a modular power supply, so be prepared to accommodate that, and it has a single power rail, which is standard and reliable. The power supply tested good on my power supply tester, as you can see in my pictures, with stable power and voltage. Under load, it is fairly quiet, though if you are not using a PC case and have an open build, you might look for something a bit quieter. For a build in a PC case, it is just fine, you won't hear it above the other components. I tested with a Ryzen 9 9900X CPU and an RTX 2060 GPU and had no issues whatsoever. The cables are flexible and good for routing, and they have ribbed plastic to give them the sleeved/braided look, which is nice. The power supply is easy to install, as it adheres to the ATX specification for dimensions, which makes it widely compatible with just about any modern case that isn't built for Micro-ATX. It comes with the screws you will need for installation and also four wire ties. As long as you understand that this is a value-focused model and adjust your expectations accordingly, you will be happy with this power supply. I really like it, and I think it is among the best values at this price point. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better option at this value.

★★★★★Dynamite low-cost PS for a low power build I did
If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. I do my best to make my reviews honest, real and value-oriented as if I had paid for each item I receive. * These items are not totally free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. I only mention this because we Viners do have some skin in the game for each item we order. Why I ordered this item: I was building a PC and needed a power supply in the 600-700W range that wouldn't break the budget. I've used PCCOOLER fans and power supplies before and they held up well, so I was willing to try this PSU. Likes: * I monitored the power used on this psu. I watched it jump from 180W at idle to around 420W when running a stress test on this RTX 4060 Ti and Ryzen 5 7600 build. * Fan noise is very low. I measured around 32 dB at load from two feet away, which is quieter than the case fans I installed. * The sleeved cables are thick and feel durable. They're also flexible enough that routing them behind the motherboard tray wasn't a problem. * 80 Plus Bronze certification at this price point is a good value. I tested efficiency with a Kill-A-Watt meter and got around 84% efficiency at 50% load, which matches the spec. * The Taiwanese capacitors are rated for 105°C, which should give this unit a longer lifespan than cheaper PSUs that use lower-grade components. No likes: * None Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: For a mid-range build like this one, the YK650L delivers stable power at a reasonable price.

★★★★False description
This says fully modular. It is not fully modular.

★★★★Solid budget PSU for the money
Some things out of the way. Firstly, this power supply is not modular in any way, shape or form. The product listing makes that clear. Second, this is a *speculative* C tier on SPL's PSU tierlist. Nobody has properly torn one of these apart, and that conclusion is based on guessing, so take that as you will. For a budget power supply, from my observations, this seems like a solid, functional little unit from a recognized brand. It's almost entirely silent under operation and worked well in my testing. 80 plus bronze is a decent efficiency rating for a budget unit, and instantly beats out the vast majority of no-name PSUs without any kind of certification at all. The PSU itself feels like a decently quality unit. The cables aren't sleeved, no surprise, but they are all black which is appreciated. If you can get this cheap, I'd recommend it for a budget or otherwise inexpensive system.

★★★★★Reliable 650W Bronze PSU—great for test benches and budget builds.
This is a nice PCCOOLER 650W power supply. It’s non-modular, but it fits well in the two cases I tried it in and worked without any issues on some older motherboards and video cards. I’m using it on my test bench now, so it’s proven itself in several different setups. The 80 Plus Bronze efficiency is solid for everyday gaming and work loads, and the 120mm hydraulic bearing fan stays quiet even under load. I really like PCCOOLER products; I have several of their CPU coolers and GPU liquid coolers, so this PSU fits right in with their line and is a name I trust in the industry. For a budget-friendly unit with good build quality, it’s a reliable choice for everyday rigs or test benches.
