★★★★★Smooth Install and Clean Build Experience — Great PSU for First-Time or Easy Builds
used the ASRock Steel Legend SL-850G 850W power supply in my PC build, and it honestly made the whole process a lot smoother than I expected. When I was putting everything together, this was one of the easiest parts of the build. The fully modular design helped a ton because I only had to plug in the cables I actually needed, which made cable management way cleaner and less overwhelming. It kept the inside of my case looking organized instead of cluttered. Installing it was straightforward—everything felt clearly labeled and easy to connect, even for someone who just wants things to work without overthinking it. The cables were flexible enough to route without fighting them, which made a big difference when trying to keep things neat. Performance-wise, it’s been solid. It provides stable power and I haven’t had any issues with crashes or instability. It’s also pretty quiet, especially during normal use. The fan doesn’t even spin under lighter loads, which helps keep the system silent. I also like that it’s future-proof. It supports newer standards like ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1, so it’s ready for newer GPUs and upgrades down the line. The build quality feels great too, with high-quality components inside and a long warranty, which gives some peace of mind for long-term use.

★★★★★Probably The Best 1000w PSU For The Price Available Today
While obviously you can't really review a PSU fully until you've used it for a few years, as longevity is what you're really looking for, at least in my opinion. However, what I can review is the ease of installation, power provided, and the include accessories and in that department, I'd say this is certainly a winner. Standard mounting holes allowed for easy install to the case (screws being included are a nice touch as well). Included cables seem sturdy, though not braided, I didn't really expect them to be for a psu this cheap though so I'm not taking points off for that. GPU 12vhp cable seems good, better than the adapter I was using before, and was a big reason for the purchase, as I'm terrified of my $800 GPU getting ruined by one of those adapters. And so far it seems to be providing adequate power with no issues during a full gaming load. Seems pretty quite as well. Also, including a 24 pin jumper for testing is absolutely awesome and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that, that's a huge plus for this thing in my opinion. Add to all that the included 10 year warranty, and I'd say overall, you're getting a really nice, high wattage psu for $102 (at the time of writing), and that alone is worth it. The added extras are nice and so far the quality seems solid. Will update if it decides to die within a year or so.

★★★★★Solid psu so far.
I've been using SeaSonic's 750w psu, but I recently upgraded my rig with more power consumption. When my pc runs really intense work, I realize it is consuming more than 650w. As far as I know, it is the best to match max load of a pc to 60-80% of psu rate. Think about car engine's redzone, you will get the idea. After I replace my psu with this one, I see that my pc's peak power consumption reaches around 710w, which might be not good for the previous 750w psu. It's been working without any noise or system instability. I thing I must note: psu is the most important part in your pc. If it dies, it will likely to kill your precious cpu, mb, ram or gpu. It is not a good idea to cut budget too much for a psu. Still this item has decent price - Around $10 per 100W and 10 year warranty are good deal.

★★★★Faulty unit
Mine was faulty and had to go back. PC couldn’t post after install, isolated cables and PSU, testing showed PSU was bad so I replaced it with a Corsair model. I will also say the cables felt cheap and the latches were extremely hard to manipulate, I bought this to upgrade an Asus ROG PSU that was 850w and the Asus unit and cables were infinitely nicer. I’m sure if it worked it’s a decent option at the price point but I just went through a whole lot of headaches to save $80.

★★★★★Cable management and connection availability are great.
Going from a semi-modular power supply to a fully modular power supply has really helped a lot with cable management in my case. The straps included with this unit helped keep it all tidy inside the case. The kit included enough cables to fill every slot on the unit, so future-proofing any further additions to your PC is already covered here. I went with this specifically to fix power flux shutdowns. Two months since purchase, I have not had any unexpected shutdowns.
