This is a good option for those of us who are on a budget. keep in mind this is non-ECC, meaning it can not correct errors which will eventually kill RAM, but its much cheaper and will run faster then ECC. It usually takes years for non-ECC Ram card(s) to become problematic so it isn't a major concern. I 've used non-ECC for years:)
