Works great, no issues. Needed to upgrade to a new machine, and I wasn't willing to sacrifice dual-channel support by going with a single stick. Just wish it didn't cost so much right now, but it is what it is. Much worse if you need more than 16 gigs though, so this might be one of the better options right now for DDR5.

I picked up this single 8GB stick of G.SKILL Flare X5 primarily to help me POST into the BIOS and get a new build stabilized; it worked perfectly for that specific purpose. The matte black finish looks great and the 5600MT/s speed is solid for a reliable DDR5 entry point. However, I ultimately decided to return it because 8GB is simply not enough for my actual workload. Even though memory pricing has unfortunately increased three-fold in the past year, I decided it was better not to cheap out on RAM for the long term. It is a frustrating time to buy memory, and I am really hoping prices subside to their original levels from last year soon. That being said, the stick itself was completely stable and functioned exactly as advertised during the time I used it. If you just need a dependable, low-profile stick to troubleshoot a system or for a very basic office setup, this Flare X5 is a great choice. It is easy to install and the AMD Expo profile works without any drama. For anyone doing modern gaming or multitasking, you will definitely want to look at higher capacity kits, but for a quick BIOS check or a budget-friendly starter, this does the job well.

Working good with amd ryzen 5 8000 cpu on gigabyte b650 eagle ax mobo. Thermaltake case and psu. Tried corsair ram and failed. But this ram worked flawlessly. Budget builds for dental office. Got prism cpu cooler from ebay cheap. No gpu to save money. No rgb but good for office pcs.
