The Fanxiang 32GB memory kit I installed in my gaming laptop has spoiled me. Inside my 2020 HP Omen 15 (model 15-en0013dx) is a AMD Ryzen 7 4800H microprocessor. Originally, the laptop came with 8GB of memory. After some research, I found that the Omen still holds its value well, suggesting it has the right hardware. I had considered buying a new laptop, but decided to look into upgrading the Omen memory. The memory kit cost a teeny fraction of what a new Omen would be, making it a low-risk investment. The memory upgrade only took about 20 minutes to install, with the majority of the time spent figuring out how to open the laptop. If I had to do it again, I could complete the upgrade in half the time. I'm amazed by the difference. Boot times with the latest Windows is now a cold-start 9 seconds – 3 times faster. Webpages load much more quickly, I don’t do gaming so I don’t know about that, and the laptop's fan stays off or at most it runs very quietly (I’m use to hearing the fan frequently launching loudly like a jet engine) which suggests to me that the processor is running cooler and, I guess, I’m saving energy. It’s almost scary quiet. This Omen supports a maximum memory capacity of 32GB. At startup, it consumes 5.76GB of RAM, which means I'm only using 18% of the available memory. In other words, I have 82% available, allowing plenty of space for applications without any memory swapping, which makes real work or browsing the internet quick, efficient, and a blessing to have quieter fan operation. Although there may be slight differences in performance among various memory kits, I am thoroughly impressed with the Fanxiang kit. It works wonderfully, saved me a lot of money, and has significantly enhanced my Omen's performance, making it faster and smoother than my son's new HP laptop. This is a bargain upgrade and absolutely worth the little effort it took to install the kit.

You are always going to take a chance when you buy things like this from a no name or unfamiliar/foreign company. I read the negative reviews as well and I knew this before I decided to make this purchase. I am happy to say that I have had zero problems for 8 months and I'm very happy with this purchase. Especially with the price.

FAST memory. Max out performance quickly with a RAM increase. Most see noticeable improvement by doubing current memory. Go bigger if needing to run more than 2 apps at once or aVM or RAM drive.
