💡 How to pick memory
What to look for:
  • Must match your motherboard type (DDR4 or DDR5)
  • 16GB minimum for gaming, 32GB for content creation
  • Higher speed (MT/s) = better performance, especially for AMD
💰 Look for kits in 2 sticks (e.g. 2x8GB, 2x16GB) for dual-channel performance

★★★★★I always use Kingston when possible for my go to RAM. It's reliable!
Just dropped 128GB into my HP OMEN BEAST gaming PC. I was able to enable XMP to hit 3467 MHz but not the full 3600 MHz. Since this is an HP PC with its own BIOS it has protection built in so not to overclock beyond the hardware's limit. XMP profile 1 showed 3600MHz but HP reduced it down to 3467 MHz. I attempted a custom profile with 3600MHz and the BEAST did not like it. It would not start-up but the BIOS automatically reduced it down to plug-n-play speed (2400 MHz). Regardless, I always use Kingston memory as it has proven reliable for me and works well in all of our PCs. Even HP uses the brand for its gaming PCs so can't go wrong.

★★★★★Surprisingly Great Overclocker
Got 2 kits for a total of 64GB, these are SR Hynix 16-bit CJR dies. Overclocks nicely to 4133 (YMMV dependent on your CPU/board of course) and will do good timings too. RGB is a bonus - looks great too! Amazing value for money especially when they were on sale... didn't want to pour too much into DDR4 kits given the inevitable switch to DDR5.

★★★★★Great Ram
I love this RAM. I've been running it for a few years now and just ordered a few more sticks. Couldn't be happier for the price and value.

★★★★★Extremely reliable
I have built and upgraded a few computers in my live. I only use kingston memories. I never had to return any of them. I receive them, install them and that'd it. I always recommend not to pay extra for additional memory on new computers, I don't think it's worth the extra manufacturer cost. After I get the computer I buy kingston memories and install the maximum the computer would let me install.

★★★★★Easy Upgrade
I have an older (by today's standards) PC with a Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming K6 motherboard. It came with 16 GB of 3200 MHz memory. I'd like to get a whole new PC, but I'm going to wait a year or so. Until then, I decided to upgrade my existing computer to 32GB of memory. So I bought two of the Kingston FURY Beast 16GB 3600MHz DDR4 sticks. I pulled the old memory out, snapped these two in their place, and started the machine. Task Manager now shows I have 32 GB of memory running at 3600 MHz. Easy peasy. I couldn't be happier with how easy the upgrade was. But since I just did this, I can't say anything about how this impacts the performance of my PC. I don't expect the jump from 3200 MHz to 3600 MHz will make a big difference. If there is any improvement with that and the increase in memory, I guess I'll notice it over time as I put the PC through its paces. Maybe I'll update this review at a later date, if I have anything to add. But for now, I couldn't be happier. The two memory sticks installed easily, and the switch from 3200 to 3600 MHz happened without me having to do anything. So, yes, I'd recommend this memory with no reservations. 5 stars for sure.
