★★★★★Honorable Seller - Good Value for the Price - Would buy again
I bought two of these drives. As happens sometimes, one went bad after the amazon 90 day guarantee. The drives have a warranty from the seller, but what kind of pain in the ass is that going to be? Well, I found out -- it's not a pain in anything! I contacted the seller, explained the problem and they quickly sent me a pre-paid postage label to send back the bad drive. It has been less than two weeks since I sent back the drive and I've got the replacement in my NAS, working perfectly (has been for two days now, so I guess the turnaround time was about a week and a half). Can't ask for much more than that, especially from a refurbished item at a good price.

Trusted seller according to Reddit, did not disappoint. Was able to snag a drive in this shortage.

★★★★★Good price for renewed 14TB drives, but a few have had issues.
I purchased seventeen of the renewed 14TB Exos X14 drives. Three have had issues where they became useless. The process to get them replaced was easy though. Although I've only had one replaced, so far. I still need to get the other two replaced this month.
And I did have three drives where sectors had been reallocated. Everything was reset on the drive, so it looks fine. And the drive tests fine throughout. But where there have been reallocated sectors, the drive is much, much slower. Because the heads need to jump around. I have kept those three drives for spares. Since those slow areas of the drive, slow things down too much in my unRAID setups. For parity checks and writing and reading content.
The drives are a good price, but with three out of seventeen drives having major issues. And three more having minor issues, if I had it over again I would have purchased the 12TB Exos X18 renewed drives instead. SInce I have not run into any issues, so far, with the nine X18 12TB Exos renewed drives I currently have in use

★★★★★Very surprised and happy.
Needed another hard drive fast but was low on money. Saw the sale for the refurbished seagate exous hard drives. Had doubts on buying refurbished hard drives but was in a bind and saw that 12 and 14 tb drives were 60% off and said that they had a warranty. Took a chance and was very happy. Ran the drive 48 hours straight copying 12tb of games to the drive. No problems after changing my settings to keep the drive from sleeping. Not any noise can be heard because of the hard drive enclosure I use it in. I wish I would have bought two that day but didn't know how the drive would act never buying a refurbished hard drive before. Oh, the 14tb turns into 12.7tb after installing the drive. Still and awesome hard drive along with the people selling it.

★★★★★I wish I could say good things.
I am pretty disappointed in this hard drive. I bought it in 2021 for future use. I put it to use in mid 2023 to which this hard drive has barely lasted a year. It is now almost mid 2024 and it has failed and my backups are gone. I don't why, but every high storage Seagate storage fails very quickly and now I am out of warranty. This drive was never abused and was used with care. The speeds were great and out the 14tb, only maybe 4tb were actually ever utilized. I still have WD hdds from almost a decade ago that still work. I don't know why Seagates have such a hard time. Its a shame since Seagate's hdd prices are competitive and often times a good deal. But unfortunately the product leaves much to be desired with seemingly high failure rates compared to its competitors.
