Coming from a Gen 1 nvme drive and replaced it with this Gen 5 nvme drive. This was a huge upgrade. My last upgrade was just three months ago and at the time decided I was going to reuse as many parts as I could. One of those was the boot nvme drive. The previous drive was a Sabrent 2TB Gen 1 x 4, this Lexar is leaps and bounds faster than that drive. I do not keep a lot of stuff on the drive so It isn't like I need the 2 TB of capacity, but it is nice to have the headroom. During all day use the drive usually sits around 46°C, while during heavy writing it can get as high as 59°C. The performance is very close to the highly optimized advertised speed. The overall feel of the build is solid, all the heat transfer labels are attached completely and securely. This drive is as nice as any Corsair or Western Digital without the premium in price. It typically sells for about 10% less than those drives. My next build, a few years from now, I will be considering Lexar drives.

Very easy to install if you aren’t computer friendly. Been gaming on it for a month now and I have not experienced any problems. It’s been really smooth. Download speeds are improved.
