This drive boots up fast and offers strong read and write speeds for its size. Installation was easy and it was recognized right away. It runs cool and performs reliably, making it a good option for reviving older machines or setting up a basic boot drive. The 128GB capacity is pretty limited, and you will want to double-check interface compatibility since it is not NVME. Using a USB 3.0 adapter can slow things down a bit, but overall it delivers good value and performance for its intended use.

Had to wait to review this SSD till I got an adapter. I have many types of SATA drives but this one mSATA I've not tried. I wanted to plug this into my pc or laptop but I don't have a slot compatible. The USB 3.0 will be significantly slower than a review using the slot type. I found it is as fast as other USB 3.0 ssd devices I have. I transferred 10gb to see how the heat affected the chip… it didn't get too hot without a heat sink. 128GB isn't exactly a large capacity storage solution but in my adapter this will allow me to move sizeable files to and from computers faster than my wifi will allow. Overall, it is hard to see this SSD differently than all the others so I would say this is a win.

First things - make sure this is actually the form factor you need! There is a difference between mSATA and NVME, they are physically different interfaces. This is a great little drive, perfect if you need a smaller boot or system drive and don't want to waste capacity (and money) on a larger drive that will be wasted. The read/write performance on this drive is excellent and since it uses 3D TLC NAND Flash it should have an excellent lifespan. Great product, great value
