I have only had this for a week. I ran tests on it with CrystalDisk. Scores are definitely in the PCIE 5.0 range. It is setup as my data/storage drive. Nothing critical will be on it that is not backed up to OneDrive. Longevity is the real question and where everyone has a concern. Only time will tell if this drive will last more than 5 years. For comparison, I have a 5 year old Sata SSD that has been flawless and still going strong. If this does the same, then it was worth the savings.

I'm not sure if the unit I received was defective, but my motherboard never recognized it. I tested it on another computer, and it didn't recognize it either. It's worth noting that I used the M.2 Gen 5 ports on both systems, and it still didn't work. I ended up having to buy a different drive from another brand. :(

I wanted to increase the capacity of my notebook and chose this drive.  The physical install was much faster than installing the software to complete the transition.  Just to be clear, it is the only drive, so installation of the operating system and other programs took a bit more time.  Had I just used it for a second drive, the installation would have been far shorter.  It was as painless an upgrade as I could have hoped for.
