★★★★★Simple but Effective SSD Cooling — Helps Keep Temps in Check
This M.2 heatsink is a nice add-on if you’re running a fast NVMe drive and want to keep temperatures under control. It’s a simple upgrade, but it actually makes a difference, especially during longer workloads. Installation is straightforward — apply the thermal pad, place the heatsink, and secure it. It fits standard 2280 drives well and doesn’t feel loose once installed. The build quality is solid. The metal heatsink feels sturdy, and the included thermal pad makes good contact with the SSD. It helps pull heat away effectively, especially under sustained use like gaming or file transfers. In real use, it keeps temps lower compared to running the drive bare, which can help maintain performance and avoid thermal throttling. The low-profile design is also a plus. It fits in most setups without interfering with GPU clearance or tight motherboard layouts. If there’s anything to note, make sure your motherboard doesn’t already have a built-in heatsink, as this would be redundant. Also, results can vary depending on airflow inside your case. Overall, it’s a simple, affordable upgrade that does exactly what it’s supposed to — helps your SSD run cooler and more consistently.

★★★★★Clean Look Basic Cooling
Compared to other NVMe heat sinks I’ve used, this one is actually a bit nicer (but also atypical) for what you get. I like the black design. I’ve had a bunch in different colors, and this is a clean-looking black one. It’s not the thickest or most refined, and it doesn’t include anything fancy like RGB, but the machining is fairly clean and the finish looks good. It comes with the usual basics for heat dissipation. A couple thermal pads, a surprisingly large number of screws, and even a small screwdriver, maybe around 3 to 4 inches. It’s not super refined though. The fins are relatively thin and closely spaced, so it’s not going to be top-tier cooling performance. It fits more into that passive heat spreader category with some decent accessories. For the price, it’s about what you’d expect. As long as it doesn’t go much higher, it feels pretty fair. I'm looking forward to using it once my 2TB NVMe comes in.
