I decided to build my second PC back in March and snagged the Corsair MP700 PRO 2TB SSD Let me tell you, this thing is blazing fast! My games load up so quickly now that I barely have time to sip my water. I Installed this into my new Ryzen 9900X PC and the benchmark speeds from this drive are amazing. Its been installed 9 months now without any issues, and while I had initial concerns about heat on these newer drives, this drive has been running very cool. Compared to the competitors drives, this drive offers the best bang for your buck. Plenty of storage, super fast speeds, and a great price. but the software… Corsair, what happened? The interface looks like it time-traveled from the early 2000s, and it’s pretty bare-bones. You’d think with all the PCIe 5.0 wizardry, the software would be up to par, but nope, it’s stuck in a Y2K time warp. All in all, the SSD is a beast: fast and reliable, runs cool. However the outdated software is a definite drawback. If Corsair can update its software suite to be on pair with that of the WD SN850X, then it would be an even bigger steal for its price.

Ordered from floradix and the seal was broken on the box not sure whether I should trust it or not which is a shame because food products can't be returned I made a video of me opening my box and the seal was already broken on the beet crystals this is a great brand but it worries me that the seal was broken. · 2026-01-16 · via amazon

I installed this in a new computer build four months ago for video editing and rendering, and I'm happy to say that with this SSD and motherboard combination (which uses Gen 5 PCIe), everything renders quickly and without issue. Certainly the fastest "drive" I've ever owned! The system boots quickly regardless of which OS I boot into. After my issue with a possibly counterfeit CPU (which was returned months ago), I'm happy that I've had no issues with this product.
