★★★★★Fast performance
Easy installation, fast performance, works flawlessly. I've been using it for a month by now and haven't encountered any issues. The clone feature of Acronis True Image is appreciated, I've read reviews that say the software is not included, but just look specifically for the Acronis True Image for Crucial version.

★★★★★Easy to upgrade older SSD
Item is a P510 1 TB NVMe M.2 SSD. I needed to replace the OS drive in an older Dell 5880 desktop. It was only a 256 GB SSD with the smaller form factor. I use a Synology server to back up the OS and system drive. I simply plugged the new drive into the slot after changing the hold-down screw to the longer position. I fired up the restore USB drive, logged into the backup image and restored. It took about 25 minutes to do a bare metal restore to the new drive. I removed the USB and rebooted and after the PC started up there were no error messages. I signed in and tested the drives and connectivity and all was well. As far as the PC knows nothing changed. The drive has performed as expected for the last hour or so with no issues. My plan is to create a separate partition and install Linux in a dual boot configuration. Since all of my data is stored on a separate drive and location I can go back and forth as needed. I do not plan to upgrade to Win 11. This large 1 TB OS drive fits my needs and will hopefully last as long as the PC does. I don't ask this desktop to do anything different then when it was first purchased in 2020. I researched lot of M.2 NVMe drives before purchasing this one. It is a Gen 5 drive but runs in my PC as Gen 3 so it is backwards compatible. The cost vs speed and storage price point is what lead me to this drive along with a 5 year warranty and TBW of 600TB. I feel that this one is best bang for the bucks along with it being new and just released. Crucial does allow you to download a version of Acronis Disk Image if you register the drive first if you don't have any other means to clone or recover a backup. Just follow the instructions in the enclosed paperwork for your language.

★★★★★Blazing Fast Speeds – Huge Upgrade
This SSD is insanely fast. Coming from a Gen4 drive, the difference is noticeable in boot times, file transfers, and loading large programs. Everything just feels instant. Installation was simple and it worked perfectly with my Gen5 motherboard right away. Just make sure you have a proper heatsink because it can run warm under heavy use. Great choice if you want top-tier performance.

★★★★★Great for Linux or Windows
Used many different types of drives over the years (since 1990) there were only two that ever quit a Western Digital Green & a Samsung SSD 3.5 I've used Crucial drives for many PC builds over the years & all of them are still going strong. The P510 does not disappoint it's super quick and doesn't make a ton of heat which are highly desirable aspects when building a new rig or just upgrading your old one plus it's backwards compatible which makes it a great choice.
