I have loved these drives. Before all the AI-related chaos, they were a great value for the performance you get. This drive has been very reliable in my system and performs exactly as advertised. If you do manage to pick one up, it is a great choice for a fast desktop or laptop setup. Here is hoping Micron brings Crucial back to consumers someday. Until then, this one has been excellent.

★★★★★Working well as a replacement

Well, my main daily computer is a NUC in the cabinet under an 85" TV/monitor. The m.2 was giving me errors and occasional blue screens. Went thru the logs and narrowed it to the drive. Went thru the specs and found the NUC had a second m.2 socket on the MB. I cleaned all non essential files to a USB stick, put this one in and cloned over the entire drive. Then pulled the old faulty SSD and moved this one over into it's socket. It's been running continuously for several months with the occasional stealthy MS update in the dead of night. But even then I wake up to the desktop where the old drive would give errors on boot and during use. I'm quite pleased with it's performance in the system. The review prompt? Heat resistance, it's running 24/7, it must be resisting pretty well. Fit? It's an m.2. Stick it in and screw down one screw. That would also cover Ease of Installation and Compatibility. The trick of course is tearing down your 'puter to get to it. Power Consumption? No idea. If I was worried about that, it wouldn't be running for months at a time continuously on a UPS. It did the job, and easily. The fix to my ailing 'puter turned out to be a slam dunk.
