It requires a separate connector for non enterprise servers. It is because of power disable (PWDIS). I wanted use this for my NAS and can't use it in the hot swappable bays because of constant power my PSU was giving. Be aware that you might need an extra cable (which is provided).

Was packaged better than expected. Drive had wiped SMART data I assume. I tested w/ badblocks and it ran for about 30-40 hours w/ no errors encountered, so all good with that. Drive gets hot during sustained workload, around high 40s to 50C in open air, so good airflow is needed. Dunno how difficult it would be for me to claim seller warranty/replacement after the return window passes.
