I bought this mainly for streaming, and so far I’m very happy with it. The 4K image is clear and sharp, and the low-light performance is much better than I expected. It gives a more professional look without needing a very complicated setup. I also like that the webcam has smart features like auto framing and gesture control. These are actually useful in daily use, not just marketing features. The built-in microphones are decent too and help make my voice clearer during calls and streams. The software is easy to use and lets me adjust settings the way I want. Overall, this feels like a premium webcam that is well suited for streamers, video calls, and content creators. I would definitely recommend it.

I used this to replace my Logitech Brio 4K, and I can easily see the image quality upgrade. It can handle large contrasts between bright and dark areas of the image better. It handles low light better. I haven't even run the tuning app for it, but the defaults are already impressive.

I upgraded my webcam for my periodic business meetings. I really like the quality of this camera. It does exactly what I need it to do and it is crystal clear. It was very easy to set up. I highly recommend this product if you do Zoom or Teams meetings.

The 4K image quality is noticeably better than most webcams—sharp, natural colors, and excellent low-light performance thanks to the larger sensor. After spending more time with this camera—and working directly with Insta360’s support team—I wanted to update my review. Overall: This is a well-designed webcam with strong core performance, especially for general use and most content workflows. What stands out: Autofocus is excellent—fast, reliable, and one of the best features of the camera. The software is thoughtfully built and offers a range of useful tools without feeling bloated. Setup is straightforward, and overall usability is strong. The built-in mic is also better than expected for a webcam. Where it falls short (specific use case): The main limitation I encountered is color accuracy under mixed lighting conditions. The camera tends to lean red/magenta, and there is currently no independent tint (green–magenta) control. In practice, this means that in environments with both daylight-balanced and warmer light sources, achieving neutral skin tones requires pushing the color temperature higher than expected. It’s workable, but not ideal if you’re aiming for precise color without post-processing. Latency is also slightly higher than some other cameras in this price range. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s noticeable in direct comparison. Important context: For typical use—Zoom calls, streaming, general content—this camera performs well. The limitation becomes more relevant in controlled production environments where color accuracy is more critical. Update after working with support: This is where Insta360 stood out. Their support team was responsive, professional, and engaged at a technical level. They acknowledged the current limitation around tint adjustment and confirmed it has been shared with their R&D team. They also handled my case promptly and fairly. Bottom line: This is a strong webcam with excellent autofocus and solid software. If your setup is relatively simple, it will likely perform very well. For more complex lighting environments, you may need to rely on external color correction—but given the overall performance and the company’s responsiveness, it remains a solid option.
