Noctua, the Austrian company famous for their engineering and materials, craft what many enthusiasts know as the best fans in the industry for consumers. Size was true to the advertisement. Fan speed is as advertised. The low noise never, great cooling performance, and overall build quality set this brand (and this fan) apart from the rest. Pros: -Great build quality -Quiet for speeds used -Cools as a fan running those speeds should Cons: -Cost -Noctua colors (some people like it, not me!) Noctua is my go-to brand for high quality builds that require a quiet operating envelope while still needing active cooling.

Noctua makes some really good fans. Needed a couple of 140mm fans to help cool some hot HHDs in a home server when the drives spin up while not making too much noise. Cooled drives and no noticeable noise increase. They are expensive, but the performance and noise are worth it.

Awesome fan. Stealthy quiet. Specs are perfect balance between pressure/ volume and noise. Noctua's the leader others copy, but cannot attain. After years of use, I can testify to their durability too. A shame Trump's new taxes have made them 60% more expensive.
