💡 How to pick a CPU cooler
What to look for:
  • TDP rating must exceed your CPU's TDP
  • Socket compatibility (AM5, LGA1851, etc.)
  • Fits within your case's cooler height limit
💰 Air coolers are reliable and quiet. AIO liquid coolers handle high-TDP CPUs best

★★★★★Impressive performance for the price
I needed a smallish simple to install cooler to use on my test bench occasionally and didn't want to spend a ton of money. Threw it on my i9-12900ks running the standard clock frequency with the power limits unlocked and my custom undervolt profile. To my surprise this little cooler performed better than I expected. For everyday tasks it was basically silent. Running Cinebench R23 with the fan at 100% was noticably louder but acceptable and kept the CPU from thermal throttling right away like some other coolers I have tried. While gaming the CPU stayed around 60-70c depending on the game and how hard it was pushing the CPU. I'm normally a custom water-cooling snob but I would have no problem using the cooler on a less extreme CPU. And for $26 this is now my favorite CPU cooler for under $30 dollars. Ironically enough, the Thermal Grizzly Graphine thermal pad I used with the cost almost as much as the whole cooler lol.

★★★★★Best in its class - strong cooling in a tight package
As a preface, I would like to remind that this is an SFF cooler designed to work well in small cases. If you have WAY more clearance (110mm-130mm) there are WAYYY better options out there than a 100mm down blower. However, I did not have that luxury. If below is you, this is 100% a recommend and probably the best option out there for sub 100mm coolers alongside stuff like AXP90-x47 (for even smaller clearances). Built in a SFF Ncase M2. Since I was forced to vertical mount the GPU, I calculated that I had about 92mm of clearance and I figured right with a perfect fit of less than 3mm of clearance with a reversed 15mm fan lol. I was extremely skeptical this would cool my CPU well at first. Despite it blowing air into a literal GPU wall, it cools really well in its conditions. With an overclocked/tuned 9800X3D with temps 50-55c (20w) in idle, 60-65c (40w) with Android emu and tons of Brave tabs, and during Valorant/CPU intense games never above 80c; under full 100-120w loads it struggles, but never throttles that hard. Unbelievable performance from a 90mm cooler, TR is really on a different level. The 15mm fan in question is Silver Stone's AS120-B btw. Absolute killer for its size as well. Not on the level of a 25mm or 30mm, but it feels and sounds like a 20mm fan.

★★★★★Keeps a 9600X cool and quiet
Looks great in a white case with a black mobo and rainbow RGB fans with RGB AMD card. Couldn't get a hold of a white 9070 but the panda theme has a charm of its own. This cooler keeps my 9600X cool and more quiet than the 9070XT while gaming.

★★★★★Decent "low-profile"-ish cooler
Pros: 1) 0% thermal throttling on 7800x3d, Thermalright AM5 contact frame and PTM9750 in benchmarks. I haven't seen temperatures above 80C yet. Very important. 2) One of the best coolers of this height from my research. 6 nice heat pipes, super polished base. 3) Worked well with Asrock B650E PG-iTX mini-ITX and Gskill Ripjaws S5, even got some space left. 4) Price. Just wow, miles cheaper than the rest. Cons (sort of): 1) Fan noise can get somewhat loud (not very annoying, low pitched noise, just loud), when it rapidly spins up to high RPM, so I modified the curve to be more aggressive on lower temps, and it's fine. In games though, it's close to silent most of the time. Keep in mind, I think on an Intel machine with 120+W of sustained loads it would be much-much noisier. 2) Had a bit of a hassle getting it fully aligned to fasten.

★★★★★Quiet, small and easy to install
I can barely hear this thing. Great buy and easy to install. I didn't really need a gigantic cooler Ryzen 5 8500G, so, Recomended!
