I like that it is about the size of my prior case. Which only held one drive plus cables. Even though it holds two drives, with cables. It isn't a hard shell case but when filled. The case becomes more rigid due to volume being filled. The cables are kept nice and secure in the zipped storage half. I also like that the surface material isn't smooth. It, plus the included lanyard and carabiner, helps keep it in hand. Though the carabiner is a bit on the cheap side. But I didn't expect it, so bonus. You do have to pull out slightly as you pull the zipper. It helps keep things aligned. $16 is pretty fair for the quality I've seen out of it so far. I would recommend it.

This case is made for two Samsung T7 Shield SSDs. I have one Samsung T7 Shield SSD and one Samsung T5 EVO SSD and I can store both of them in this case as you can see in my photo. There are a few other cases on Amazon that hold the Samsung T7 Shield SSD, but some of the Comments on those other cases say, they don’t hold the T7 Shield well because of its rubberized protective exterior. This case holds the T7 Shield SSDs perfectly. The T5 EVO SSD is a little longer than the T7 Shield SSD, but it fits in this case too with no issues. Because I can fit two different SSDs in one case, it saves me money by not having to buy two different cases. This case has raised humps on the outside to provide nice protection for the SSDs. It comes with a clip-on strap and carabiner to make it easy to carry around and has a separate attachment point for each. I like the color Red because it stands out when I’m looking for it. There are cases that rely on friction to hold the SSDs in place, I like having an elastic strap over the SSDs for added security. The zippered net pocket holds the SSD’s data transfer cable with room to spare. I highly recommend this case and brand (XANAD) if you have the Samsung T7 Shield SSD or the standard T7 SSD.

Good case that fits the t5 perfectly! It lasted 5 years, then the zipper broke in half. Otherwise this would be a 5 star case.
