★★★★★Outstanding compact size keyboard
I bought the Corsair K55 Core for my son, and it has been an excellent choice. The size is perfect for him, and the build quality is impressive. It has already survived several months of enthusiastic gaming and some pretty rough treatment without any issues at all!
The keys feel great to use, and the keyboard has been holding up exactly as we hoped. The lighting is a big bonus too, making it much easier for him to play at night while also adding a cool look to his setup.
Overall, this keyboard offers outstanding durability, comfort, and value. I would absolutely recommend it to any parent looking for a reliable gaming keyboard for their kids, or for themselves if they are looking for a compact, good quality keyboard

★★★★★Beautiful, durable, and efficient.
Lots of color customization options. I also really like that it's a smaller keyboard because it doesn't have the 10 key on it. It also seems to be built to last.

★★★★★A solid Membrane TKL for general use and gaming.
Writing this on the K55 now and I've been using it as my primary for a month or three. My needs were fairly simple: I wanted a TKL because my desk space is very tight and I don't do data entry to need a 10 Key with membrane action. Yes, I've tried the old style Cherry switches in "quiet" and "soft" (brown? if memory serves) but they are still noisy even after adding rubber dampers and lube plus they're a bit more finicky. I went back to a cheap Cherry brand TKL membrane for half this price and it was OK, for a while but was not at all durable and I "live" at my main keyboard for gaming and content consumption. I'm also a touch typist with decades of experience as such, so I have expectations and I do game as well. Basically, I know what I like for feel have little to no interest in fancy lights or shiny extras.
So here's the bullet points:
Pros:
+ Solid feel and seems to be well built.
+ Quiet. Not silent but I don't have to worry about annoying someone else in the room. I mostly hear my fingers tapping the keys at speed.
+ Basic function keys are included and decently well laid out.
+ Light controls available on keyboard itself. As someone who uses this with a KVM over multiple systems, running software to make a keyboard not be an annoying rainbow light show is right out.
Cons:
- Not perfectly quiet.
- No dimming for the lights (that I can find).
- Con for me is that it's laid out like a Cherry switch setup with an upward slope. I'm not a fan but I know that I'm in the minority here. I much prefer a flat layout like a laptop (I especially love the Lenovo Thinkpad Keyboard but it's not a good layout for gaming). This said, the slope is gentle and I can live with it.
- I do like the durability of the typical fully attached USB cable but I did get a little spoiled with the mechanical TKL I had with a USB connector as it allowed me to use custom cables with specific lengths and a right angle that was very advantageous for me. More a nit than a con but I'm trying to be thorough.
Overall? I like it and it was a reasonable price. I wouldn't have paid $100 for it in 2025 but I'm happy in the $50 to $70 range where it was. Durability seems good and, should it hold up for a couple of years as opposed the 12 months for the Cherry branded membrane that was half the price, I'm satisfied. Can recommend if you want a TKL with membrane keys instead of mechanical.

★★★★★LOVE IT!!
I'm not the biggest fan of bluetooth items and I have a very small desk. It fits perfectly and I love that it is wired. It's not too loud, but not extremely quiet either. Exactly what I was wanting!
