★★★★★What an upgrade!
I have used logitech products for a long time and I always have been very happy with them. This review is for the logitech G915 (GL CLICKY) keyboard. This is my first keyboard with the high performance, low profile mechanical keys. I had a previous logitech keyboard that was wired and has lasted me for years. But I was interested in getting a wireless keyboard with RGB capabilities. There were many different options on Amazon so I tried different manufacturers keyboards to find one that I really liked. My requirements for my upgraded keyboard were as follows: 1) I love keys with a low profile and low travel on them so this was a priority for me. My previous logitech keyboard handled that really well. 2) I wanted the ability to record macros (if you have a lot of repetitive tasks, you'll never know how much you will love macros until you start using them) 3) I desired a keyboard with more than one angle option for elevating the tilt of the keyboard to conform to my angle of typing 4) I needed a full separate number keypad 5) I wanted bright, colorful led keys without screaming "look at me" but still having an elegant cool factor. 6) Wireless with decent battery life. 7) Dedicated media controls 8) Affordable price 9) Plays well with other RGB software Well, this keyboard has done a really good job of meeting (almost) all of those qualities. How did it stack up? 1) After trying several other keyboards, this logitech G915 had the lowest profile mechanical keys of anything that I tried. The "throw" was longer than my old keyboard but shorter than any other mechanical keyboard that I tested, with a crisp, but light key action. There weren't any double-strokes or errors. It was incredibly accurate. 2) Macros. This keyboard has them. There are 5 Macro keys on the far left of the keyboard and they are easily accessible. Overall, they are great, but they did take some getting used to. As a video editor, I am a big user of keyboard shortcuts so the CTRL and SHIFT keys are a regular part of my repertoire. Initially, I found that I was hitting the G5 and the G4 macro keys when I was touch typing. It took a bit of adjusting to prevent that from happening. But, hey, in the process of hitting them by mistake I quickly found that they were preprogrammed to refresh a web page and open up a sidebar download function of my Vivaldi browser. So that was a bonus! I actually use those a good deal! Yea! The macros are easily recorded, so you can pretty much make this keyboard do whatever you need it to. 3) Angle option. This comes with two feet that are adjustable to two different heights. Since this keyboard doesn't come with a wrist rest, I found it helpful to have this keyboard at a greater angle to make typing even easier. 4) Full separate keypad - check! 5) RGB coolness factor: Spot on! Nice clean and vibrant colors come through the keycaps. But because of the low profile there isn't a lot of RGB color spill from under the keys. I like that. I included a side angle shot of the keys so you can see how clean the look is. 6) Wireless with decent battery life. Solid score here. Some have complained that they didn't have good performance if the keyboard was too far from the receiver. That hasn't been an issue for me. But logitech thoughtfully includes a decent length of USB cable that the transmitter plugs into. This serves two purposes: I can still have the transmitter close to my keyboard and, when the time comes to recharge the battery in the keyboard, I can extend the cable and plug it directly into the keyboard and charge it while I continue to use it. I have found keyboard battery life to be quite sufficient (they keyboard itself turns off the RGB functions after a few minutes of inactivity. But turning the keyboard back on is instantaneous when you start typing on it. FYI, using this keyboard wirelessly or plugged in, I noticed no difference in response time. The Lightspeed technology that logitech is using here is terrific. 7) Dedicated media controls: THIS IS BONUS AND AWESOME. Specifically, this keyboard has a small "drum" in the upper right corner that you scroll forward or backward to control volume. It is smooth as silk and works instantly, with no lag between turning the barrel and hearing the results on the PC speakers. I work with different media that is recorded at different levels and this has been a big upgrade for me. No more reaching for a separate CTRL and Function key combination to control volume. There are also separate keys for Play/Pause, mute, and Forward/Backward functions. Nice. 8) Affordable price. Well, yikes, this is certainly not the cheapest keyboard I have purchased. But the price has come down quite a bit from when the keyboard was introduced. In addition, I purchased a "refurbished" unit from Amazon and saved a few more dollars that way. The Refurb has worked flawlessly. 9) Plays well with other RGB software. Although this ships with logitech's own G HUB software, if you have ever built you own RGB PC you will quickly find that mixing and matching different components often requires controlling each RGB component with different manufacturer's software. So, I switched to Signal RGB to control all of my RAM, Fans, and other RGB peripherals. This logitech keyboard interfaced flawlessly with the Signal RGB software so everything is in perfect sync. Other than the price, this keyboard is a killer and a great upgrade. I am really happy with it and I bet you will be too.

★★★★★A very good and very heavy keyboard
I am a gamer, I go through a lot of keyboards. I used to use a wired Corsair K70 RGB which I adored except for the cable needed to attach the board to my computer. The Logitech lightspeed keyboard was just so darned expensive that I figured I would have to wait....But then I found this refurbished keyboard for much less cash! After spending a few days with it now I can tell you that there is love in my heart for this wireless beauty. Here is a summary review: The good: - The gaming and touch on this keyboard is superb. This really is a triumph of good engineering. - Super responsive keys, yet with a satisfying mechanical "click" - The mechanical keys don't need as much travel as a typical mechanical keyboard. Somewhere between a laptop keyboard travel and an older mechanical key. That means typing is precise and comfortable. I can type for quite a while without my fingers getting tired. - The lights are nice and bright for a wireless keyboard. - All the lighting effects are adjustable and customizable - I get about 30 hours of continuous use without needing to recharge. But I just plug it in each night so I never have to worry about running out. - I love that I can conned with lightspeed or Bluetooth. That means I can move to the keyboard to other pcs without a hassle. - I thought it was a gimic, but I wound up really liking the "gaming" key on the board to turn off the windows things while gaming. The bad: - The keyboard is surprisingly heavy. While that means it won't flex if you have it on your lap, but I find the weight a little excessive. This isn't a deal breaker for me, but every time I pick it up, I am surprised at its heft. - I have a powerplay mouse and charging pad, but the lightspeed keyboard will not sync with it, so I am forced to use Bluetooth or a dongle. Sigh. At least the Bluetooth is super-responsive, making the domgle unnecessary. The ugly: - It is still an expensive board, even with the amazing amazon renewed discount. Overall Grade: A solid "A" Would have been an A+ if Logitech learned how to build this board with some graphite composite instead of heavy aluminum - or considering its weight, maybe it is made of steel?

★★★★★Fantastic keyboard
The backlighting is bright and vivid, the mechanical keys are perfect in terms of pressure and responsiveness. The clicking is satisfying as any mechnical peripheral is. Passes the space bar test. Comfortable setup, however the placement of the enter keys and Ctrl keys took a little getting used to compared to my last keyboard. The grip on the bottom is stable. Overall a high quality keyboard and I'm please with the purchase. The ability to hotswap between my work computer and my personal computer using the light speed toggle feature is amazing and the primary reason I opted for this keyboard against others. If you have a setup at home that uses two PCs for separate purposes and you'd like to keep a singular keyboard without the need to manually swap between setups each time you use them, this is an ideal choice. Just one toggle button at the top and I can switch between the Bluetooth on my personal PC and the wireless USB connection on my work PC. Would rate 10/10 again and again for that feature alone. Being Logitech you know it's quality, the additional G keys and gaming modes are just an added bonus, the full size number pad is great too for what I do with it.

★★★★★The best overpriced keyboard money can buy!!!!
I currently own 8 different keyboards across my home Family PC, gaming PC, home office, and work office. This is by far is the best Keyboard I have ever typed on (Clicky keys) I do prefer and currently use the Keychron K1 (Red Switches) in the work office. The only gripe I have is when gaming in low light settings the symbols under the numbers are not illuminated like WTF on a $200+ Keyboard that's insane. I have $20 keyboards that come with that feature lol. Anyway if you can catch this beauty on sale or refurbished there is literally no other choice to compare it to. I love this keyboard and will use it for the rest of my life or untill they offer a upgraded model that illuminates secondary symbols. Battery life is insane as well.

★★★★Buggy, oversensitive keys even after being replaced twice
Update: I contacted Logitech after writing the review below, and they are going to send me a replacement. I'll remove or update this review once if I have a better experience with the new one. Update 2: Since the previous update, I received a replacement from Logitech that exhibited the same undesirable behavior. I had the replacement replaced, and that replacement, the third keyboard I've received, is also behaving the same way. I have to consciously avoid even resting my fingers on the keys when I type to avoid sending unwanted characters. Everything else about the keyboard is great, but this issue has made me thoroughly regret this purchase. After just a few months of ownership, this keyboard has gotten to where it will send key presses when I don't intend for it to. It seems like the space bar is the biggest issue. I can push down lightly on a key, and it will send the keypress before the key is pressed down far enough to make a noise. It will very frequently add extra spaces and sometimes other characters to what i'm typing just from me lightly resting my fingers on the keys like I do normally. It seems to often send spaces twice after a single press as well. I have to be conscious of this whenever I'm using the keyboard, or I'll have to go back and fix things and remove extra spaces that pop up in the middle of or between words. Really disappointing when I thought I was finally getting myself a nice keyboard after only using cheap ones for years and years. The $20 ones were more reliable and less frustrating that this one. But it's too late to return and I can't justify spending hundreds of dollars on keyboards every year, so I guess I'll just deal with it.
