★★★★★Great Mic with Minor Cosmetic Issue
I picked up this Rhode mic for my webinar meetings and overall I'm really happy with it. The sound quality is exactly what I was looking for and it's been working great for my needs. One thing I noticed when I first got it was that there were some white marks on the surface. I was a bit concerned at first thinking they might be scratches or permanent damage, but turns out they just wiped right off with a cloth. Not sure if it was from packaging or handling during shipping, but it wasn't a big deal since they came off easily. The mic itself performs really well and feels solid. Setup was straightforward and I haven't had any technical issues with it. The build quality seems good and it's been reliable so far. Would definitely recommend this mic - just don't worry if you see some white marks when you first unbox it. They're probably just surface residue that cleans off no problem.

★★★★★Compact, Heavy-Duty Mic That Feels Pro Right Out of the Box
Right out of the box, this mic feels solid and well-built. It’s surprisingly heavy for its size, which honestly makes it feel premium and durable — definitely not cheap plastic. The compact design is perfect for smaller setups or desks, and the magnetic base keeps it stable while recording. From what I’ve seen and read, the sound quality is clear and crisp thanks to the studio-grade condenser capsule. It’s made to pick up natural-sounding vocals with very low background noise, which makes it great for podcasting, streaming, or recording music. The USB-C cable it comes with is a decent length — long enough to reach from a desk setup to your computer without stretching or needing an extension. It also connects instantly with no extra software needed, which is super convenient. I haven’t recorded with it yet, but just based on the build quality and RØDE’s reputation, this feels like a professional-level mic made to last.

★★★★★A tiny tank built for performance and quality
The first thing that comes to mind when handling this microphone is its weight. This little guy is deceptively heavy. That's due to its all metal framework. I'll never try it, but it really does feel like that if I tossed the mic across the room it wouldn't receive even a tiny scratch. Really impressive build quality for the price. For just $100 I wasn't expecting very much in the way of sound quality but I can say that it makes my friends, all of which own Blue products and other overpriced microphones, quite jealous. The way this mic handles plosives is great. A built in pop filter adds some serious value to an already excellently valued product. The sound is also crystal clear. What you hear through audio monitoring is also what the mic output sounds like. No dips or hiccups when it comes to output. The one complaint I do have about the overall package is its desk stand. While the desk stand is somehow ALSO tanky as hell, along with bearing a magnetic mount, It's always better to invest in a microphone arm. There are plenty of cheap ones on amazon, but given the fact that this microphone is EXTREMELY sensitive, I recommend buying a quality microphone arm with some sort of shock mount or pad to dampen vibration as the desk moves. Also buyer beware: This microphone has only one polar pattern and lacks the multiple polar patterns that more expensive microphones have. That being said, this microphone was designed specifically for casual use, but delivers the cardioid polar pattern just as good as competing brands. If this is a deal breaker for you, I apologize. Otherwise, the RODE NT USB MINI is a fantastic low cost, highest quality option for people in the market for such a thing. Whether it be for studio recording, streaming, or just sweaty gaming. This little monster does it all better than the rest.

★★★★★One of the best small USB Mics you can buy
Overall this a great little mic if you need some small for voice. Pros: Small size High quality nylon and aluminum construction Simple magnetic base Strong headphone amplifier built in, able to drive many headphones, including those with higher impedance like the MDR V6 at 53ohms Compact and portable Solid USB C connection with a quality, adequate length included cable Cons: Limited to 96khz. People debate this, but 192khz does often sound a bit better to me, though it's not necessary. Somewhat high noise floor - the mic can sound a bit sizzly Included stand is very low, and easily picks up background noise. Depending on your use case you'll almost definitely need to pick up a separate stand that brings the mic within 6 inches of your mouth to take advantage of the proximity effect. You can get an aftermarket stand for not too much money, but frankly I'm not sure why they included such a short stand. Depending on your voice timbre, it can sound somewhat flat and 'robotlike'. This is more a personal problem for since I have a very monotone voice. Different mics can make it sound better. Overall, for the money you really can't go wrong. It's far better than any included headset mic, the headphone amp is very good, and it also sounds pretty decent for acoustic guitar.

★★★★★Very good quality (manufacturing wise)!!
I use this microphone with my android phone for recording and streaming/performance acoustic instruments (piano, cello, violin). Though I use it everyday, I am a casual user. Cons: - The app/program to update the firmware. On my phone, it just kept turning the microphone on and off and eventually just stayed off. Same thing happened when connected to my laptop. Kept turning the device on and off but it eventually updated. Not quite sure what was happening. I used the included USB cable. Updating the firmware fixed some obvious bugs (e.g. light turning on inappropriatly). - The stock volume is very low. Using the app/program helped with this issue by allowing you to adjust the gain. - There's very few options for a case. -Since I use with my phone, I'd like a good phone and microphone mount but the microphone is so heafty...(which is a good thing). Pros: - The unit is very well built/solid; I have not seen such good manufacturing in a long time! Since it's heafty, it does cause problems in portability since there isn't a nice case. - It is exactly what it says it is. No surprises. - Both a pro and con is that there's no adjustments except the monitor volume dial but that's clearly stated so I knew what I was buying and it's great for my simple plug/chug into phone use.
