★★★★★Desktop Life Savior After A Failed MSI
Was able to score a deal on black Friday week for a whole Benjamin Franklin face value. This helped me solve an issue with a desktop that was using the LGA 1200 CPU of an i9 and suddenly went dead one day from normal everyday use. We are talking maybe 2-3 years of use. Not even a new power supply solved the problem and turned out to be a fried motherboard on an MSI. Very sad because I looked on marketplace and it seems other people selling the intel boards are also failing in a similar fashion being listed for parts. All capacitors look fine but regardless, finally scooped up this board and installed it without issue. Booted right away and was recognized by the ram modules and CPU. Was even able to boot off the Windows 11 OS from the old motherboard after a blue screen and reboot. Went ahead and installed a fresh operating system after. The options for other boards were ultimately beaten by this due to price, port capacity, memory supporting 4 DDR4 modules, and connectivity options. Even doubles as a more reliable in the work environment type of board so I should not see a circuit failure again.

★★★★My take with intel 9 ultra 285k
Smooth setup. The m2 pci 5.0 slot didnt perform as expected from the Samsung 9100 pro nvme. Ran with Intel 9 ultra 285k and seems it wants to down clock the ddr to 4800, so you just need ddr 4800 I'm guessing. You can force higher but probably slow it down. No wifi built in. The built in nic is picky so if you have faulty ethernet it won't connect. Not recommended for video editing, the pro art seems to be made for that. The server capabilities are okay, nothing special. I would say it runs very efficient. Isn't stable with legacy components, don't add in stuff from 14 years ago.

★★★★★you will get a good value and performance
I have build hundreds of computers and ASUS products always seem to deliver product quality and performance. This motherboard is another example of the commitment to quality. The board fit perfectly into the case and I did not have to force any part of it. It came with all of the screws and connectors that I needed to complete the build easily. Although, I wish the front panel connectors were marked better on the board so i didn't have to refer to the manual in the middle of the build. The BIOS was easily updated after the first couple of start ups and the Windows installation went without a hitch. I don't know if this was a one off or not, but there was no driver disk included with the board and after connecting to the Internet I went to the support site to download the drivers but I had to go to the Intel site to get the proper chipset drivers. Overall you will get a quality product with great performance. Just be prepared to do a little searching for the drivers you need after the Windows install.

★★★★★Intel Gen 13 Capable - Not ready out of the box
After about 15 hours of internet searching, building and rebuilding, reordering parts... we final have this Mother Board working. The system would start for about 3 seconds and then power down. The MB lacks a display for error codes. The MB would not produce any beeps or video display. The CPU Cooler fan would start and spin down after 3 seconds. Turn out the MB ships with FW version 1401. In order to use a Gen 13 Intel processor you need to update the FW. Easy enough, if you have a spare Gen 12 LGA1700 CPU around. Well thats what you have to do. Install a Gen12 LGA 1700 and update the FW to current. (At the time of this review is 2609). Asus EzFlash will guide you to update the Intel ME after the reboot. When thats done... you are ready to swap the CPU for the Gen 13 and build the rest of your rig. Hope this helps.

★★★★★Outstanding Value - Desireable Features
I used this mobo for a firewall build that went exceptionally well. I was able to install the OS to a crucial P3 Plus m.2 chip using a bootable usb stick. The CPU is an intel i5-11600, RAM is Corsair Vengence DDR4 3200 and NIC is a generic Intel compatible gigabit dual port variety.
