★★★★Non-modular mess, but a great power supply for the money
I have a gaming rig that I just upgraded with a new graphics card, and this 850 watt power supply quickly helped me get my games back on. This power supply delivers power at over 82% efficiency and certified for 80 Plus Bronze. This is a budget friendly power supply and offers very good performance at a lower cost alternative to the better known names. The PCCOOLER 850 watt power supply seems to be very well-built with a nicely finished case. The budget friendly aspect comes out with the non-module design. There will be a mass of extra wires leftover that you will have to stuff somewhere in you case, so it is not the cleanest install. On the plus side, it provides a huge amount of clean power to a hungry gaming PC, without breathing hard. It seems to run cool, even at the highest FPS game settings. If you’re doing a budget build or just want to save some of you hard earned bucks, put this power supply on your short list.

★★★★★Reliable workhorse that delivers steady power without the fuss
If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. You see a lot of Vine reviews that are cookie cutter and based on templates. I aim to make my reviews honest and non-cookie cutter (other than this intro and disclaimer). * These items are not actually free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. Therefore, I will never order something from Vine unless I actually intend to use it. I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don't meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly. Why I ordered this item: I am putting together a new build and need something that can handle a high-end GPU (5070) without undershooting on wattage. 850W seemed like the sweet spot, and the price on this one was reasonable enough that I didn't feel like I was overpaying. Likes: * The fan is quiet. I was expecting the usual PSU hum you normally get, but this thing barely registers even under full (close to full) load. The fan does its job without being annoying about it. * Build quality here is solid. Everything feels substantial when you're handling it. The capacitors are Taiwanese, and you can tell they didn't cheap out on the internal components. * Power delivery is stable under stress. I threw some demanding AI workloads at it and watched the rails stay consistent. No voltage sag, no weird behavior even when the system is pulling hard. * For an 850W PSU this is pretty compact. I was worried about it eating up space in my case but it fits fine in a standard ATX setup without being a pain to work around. * The efficiency rating means your power bill doesn't take as much of a hit. It's small, but that certification does matter. No likes: * Cable management is a headache because it's non-modular. You get all the cables whether you use them or not, so you end up with extra stuff you have to bundle up and tuck away. Not a dealbreaker but it's annoying. * This thing has some weight to it compared to lighter PSUs I've used before. Not a huge deal if you're doing a one-time install, but if you move your PC around it's noticeable. I did not deduct a star. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: This is a reliable workhorse PSU that doesn't try to be anything fancy. It delivers power, it's quiet, and it won't fail on you. The non-modular cables are the only real friction point, but the rest of the package makes up for it and the price is great.
