I installed it in my Steam Deck OLED to convert the stock 2230 slot into support for a full 2280 NVMe drive. The board feels solid, the connector seats cleanly, and alignment was straightforward. It comes with the necessary screw and pad, and once installed, it sits neatly within the internal layout. No drama. No nonsense. Just a simple bridge between modest storage and glorious excess. Performance wise, it has behaved exactly as it should. My PCIe 4.0 drive runs as expected, load times are snappy, and I have not experienced instability or random disconnects. Thermals remain reasonable with proper placement of the included pad. once you get the deck open it's not terribly difficult to install, make sure you get the right one because the OLED deck has a different layout than the old one. my main concern before getting it was about securing the NVME itself, they include a couple double stick strips that are very sticky and hold it securely but make sure you aren't expecting to upgrade it again or you will have to peel it off and get a new strip or double stick tape. I am for sure glad to finally be able to install as many games as I want without being constrained to the small formfactor m.2 drives.
