Stopped working properly just after a year of moderate use. Samsung software (Magician) doesn't recognize it most of the time and when it does, reports it healthy. Saving files to it is extremely slow if it works at all and when it does slowly start saving, it becomes very warm to the touch. This is not a quality device and I strongly advise anyone considering an external SSD NOT to buy Samsung.

This is my fourth Samsung TV; the others were great, but I hated this one from the beginning. The color was inconsistent, and the AI function made the display way too bright. The colors were way off on older movies and shows. Watching sports almost gave me a headache because the colors were so bright and unrealistic. My MacBook Pro display was preferable to the Samsung TV. I purchased this and received it on Nov 22, 2025. It is now April 2026, and the sound went. I tried turning it off for 5 minutes, and the sound came back for 15 seconds before going off again. I used the self-help on the TV itself and did a sound test.
