Bought this to upgrade the storage on my PS5. Installation was easy and the system had no issues reading the drive and formatting it. You get the full capacity advertised on the drive for storage, no space is reserved for system usage or anything. The drive speed is phenomenal and well beyond the recommended specs set by Sony. Easily the best SSD on the market right now and is a must purchase for any PS5 user. ***Just a little heads up, I had trouble removing the screw inside the SSD expansion bay. The screw is very flimsy and threads easily and the issue appears wide spread online. So take extra care while installing your SSD and make sure to use the right tools***
