I was on the fence about what size to get because I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg after already spending a bunch of money on my PS5 console and several games. People on Reddit (etc) all say, "Just get a smaller 1 or 2 TB drive because realistically you aren't playing that many games at once and you can just uninstall the ones you're not playing. You don't need more room than that." Well, after 3 months I'm already regretting listening to that advice. My drive is full, I don't want to uninstall any of the games on it, and I wish I went with a 4 or 8 TB drive instead. I'll probably end up having to spend even more buying a second drive. (Not sure how I'll transfer the data over either, since there's only one expansion slot, but I'm sure I'll figure something out.) This is an excellent drive and performs very well, but if you're anything like me, you'll regret trying to save money by getting a smaller size. My advice is: get as much storage as you can afford -- it'll be worth it later.
