Noctua NF-A14x25 G2 PWM chromax.Black, Premium-Quality Quiet 140mm PC Fan (Black)

Very pricey fan, but it is inaudible and very good circulating air. They've yet to go at full rpm in my build. There's definitely more accessories with this chromax fan compared to previous chromax fans. This is the quietest you can get while still achieving amazing airflow and cooling. Still a premium product with a premium price and I believe it to be worth every penny, though, so if it's not within you're budget Artic's and Be quiet's are you're next bet.

I used this in place of the G1 140 mm PWM fan that came with my Noctua CPU cooler (NH-C14S), which is how I was able to compare the difference in performance. This is a premium 140 mm fan, but you probably already know that. There are fans which move more air, but none that offer this performance within such a low noise envelope. I've also seen reviews of some competing models that they don't sound as pleasant, under high load. The packaging has changed since the G1 fans, but you still get a generous set of accessories. Note that if you use the Y-cable, it will interfere with RPM monitoring. I had used it as a short extension cable, but wondered why I didn't see any RPM reading. Then, I switched to the proper extension cable and RPM monitoring worked properly.

The amount of air this moves even at the lower RPMs compared to other 140mm fans is impressive. I wish these were cheaper but they do work well.

I love me some Noctua fans! I was excited to grab these G2s and they haven't disappointed. Sound: They're very quiet up to about 50% with three identical 140s in my system and a 120 variant for exhaust and CPU. You begin to hear them above this level, but the sound profile is pleasant, unlike the stock fans that came with my NZXT case. Great case, average fans tho. Performance/Temps: These keep my 5080 and 9800X3D cool and happy. Gaming load temps sit from 56C to mid 60s on average. Looks: Some love the brown and tan, some prefer the black, I like 'em both but went with black for these to match the rest of my system's aesthetic. They look great. Materials: Sturdy as heck. Noctua fans feel next-level compared to your average fan. Thicker, better blades, high-quality frame and materials overall.
